As a child, Jubin was curious to know how buildings were built and airplanes lift off the ground. From his father, he learned about construction and how buildings influenced people’s quality of life. In 2007, he received his Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia with a minor in Commerce, and was placed on Dean’s honor list. During summer months prior to graduation, he had the opportunity to join the Ministry of Transportation as a District Development Technician to perform various duties including zoning approvals.
Soon after graduation, he started his career in engineering with Stantec Consulting, a multidisciplinary consulting firm. Working with an expert team of Structural engineers, he performed various design and inspection assignments from institutional to airports and industrial projects. His interest in green building design concepts inspired him to get his certificate as a LEED Accredited professional (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).
In 2009, he attended graduate school to obtain his Masters degree in Project and Construction Management in order to complement his engineering background. He then pursued his career by joining an experienced team at Graham Construction and Engineering, where he was involved in construction management of an attractive shopping mall named High Street for over two and a half years. Jubin is currently providing engineering and construction management services as a member of Cube 4 and is also active as a real estate advisor.
On his spare time, Jubin likes exploring new places in town, and enjoys taking his friends up for a scenic flight around beautiful Vancouver.
